Thadd PresleyYes, no more ticks. I got attacked twice this year. Once was well over 300 darn tickson my ankles. I got lost on top of the mountain just over from my house and finally came out near the fair ground in Wartburg. It was a 4 hours long walk until I finally found civilization and even then it was just the railroad tracks that lead me out. I HATE TICKS and no longer take bug spray for granted.

Erik AndelmanI put corn into that bowl, the pigs put their heads down into it, and I shoot one of them with a 22 behind the ear. This knocks it out instantly and I cut it's throat. The other pig is startled by the shot and runs off, but comes right back for the corn. Pigs are smarter than most people think, but not as smart as vegetarians think.

Jennifer McGloinI don't think going back to the bowl indicates a lack of intelligence, I think it has to do with trust. The "bang" was unusual- so even though it was something to run from, the animal doesn't expect that the sound will happen over and over again (it's only happened once in a lifetime). What it KNOWS happens over and over again is that people feed and care for it, so the intelligent deduction is that the sound was an anomaly and that the bowl is a good and safe place to go. Dogs are intelligent and most of them would do the exact same thing under these circumstances- "The sound is gone and there is great stuff to eat in the bowl.....I'm so there!" (Unless they are dogs that have been through a life of trauma or have reasons to mistrust... same with the pigs). I'm not making a statement on meat-eating (it's soooo great that you don't support the factory meat)... just representn' for the P.I.G.'s, holmes.
